Gossip website Bossip is claiming NFL safety Kerry Rhodes is saying he could be the father of Kim Kardashian’s baby girl, and not Kanye West. The site says Rhodes sent text messages to some friends making the claims. Patrick Jones says the story is complicated by rumors that Rhodes is gay.

Directed by Justin Chadwick, the film follows the freedom fighter’s journey from childhood to his election as president of South Africa. The pic, which The Weinstein Co. is distributing in North America, is based on Mandela’s autobiography of the same name.

Mandela will have a limited release in the U.S. on Nov. 29, putting it in place for awards consideration.

The film, shot in South Africa, started principal photography at the end of May 2012 in KwaZulu-Natal and went on to shoot for 16 weeks in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Mandela’s home province, the Eastern Cape.

The film also stars Naomie Harris (Skyfall) as Mandela’s wife Winnie, and features South African stars Tony Kgoroge, Riaad Moosa, Zolani Mkiva, Jamie Bartlett, Lindiwe Matshikiza, Deon Lotz and Terry Pheto.

The cast of an Atlanta sports radio show has been fired after mocking a former NFL player who has Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as ALS, a station official said on Monday.

The show, Mayhem in the AM, was broadcast on 790 The Zone Monday morning. In a statement, General Manager Rick Mack said the station regrets comments made about ex-New Orleans Saints safety Steve Gleason.

The 36-year-old suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. ALS patients lose the ability to speak and move, which has happened to Gleason

So far, the cases have been reported in eight states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Washington.

What is hepatitis A?

Hepatitis A is a highly-contagious virus that is typically transmitted by contaminated food or water, or by someone who’s infected with the virus, according to the Mayo Clinic.

The infection causes liver inflammation. While mild cases don’t require treatment, severe cases can lead to liver failure and death, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, there are an estimated 1.4 million cases of hepatitis A.

Vaccination can prevent illness if given within two weeks of exposure, and those who have already been vaccinated are unlikely to become ill, according to CDC.

The Mississippi cross-dressing man charged with depraved-heart murder back in 2012, for administering illegal buttocks-enhancing injections that killed a Georgia woman, is now being charged for a second death.

Tracey Lynn Garner, formerly known as Morris Garner, was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of depraved-heart murder, for the death of Marilyn Hale of Selma, Alabama. Garner allegedly injected “a silicone substance” into Marilyn Hale on Jan. 13, 2010, which she later died from.

Prior to the charge, Garner had been on house arrest awaiting trial for the 2012 death of Karima Gordon. Gordon traveled from Atlanta to Jackson, Miss., to receive the injections in late March 2011, dying several days later. Conviction for depraved-heart murder carries a potential life sentence.

Dave Chappelle is making his most substantial return to stand-up comedy with a one-month tour for Funny Or Die.

The comedian will headline the Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival, which kicks off Aug. 23 in Austin, Texas. The 13-date, two-stage tour concludes Sept. 22 in Phoenix.

The 39-year-old Chappelle has occasionally performed impromptu sets in comedy clubs. But he has largely avoided comedy and public life since abruptly leaving his hit Comedy Central series, “Chappelle’s Show,” in 2005.

Also on the bill are Flight of the Conchords, Hannibal Buress, Kristen Schaal and Al Madrigal.

Two weeks ago, Nicole Flood found her daughter, Aquilla Flood shot dead in her East Orange, NJ bedroom. Her uncle said he looked in  on her around 3 a.m and  she was found dead around 7:30 a.m. Aquilla’s classmates described her as stylish and friendly and was preparing to attend her prom.

Aquilla Flood broke up with Means several months ago, her mother said, after the suspect’s sister warned the girl that the 18-year-old was a violent man. The threats started a few weeks later.

She was so scared that she begged her mother to move to a new apartment, but Nicole Flood said she didn’t know the extent of the threat posed by Means until after she found her daughter lying in a pool of blood in her bedroom. Aquilla apparently told her uncle about the threats, but not her mother.

Samsung has purchased 1 million copies of Jay-Z’s album, slated for release July 4, and plans to give them to Samsung Galaxy smartphone users for free – 72 hours ahead of the release. The users are to receive the music through an app they’ll receive later this month – June 24th. (Recipients won’t be able to share it until the official release date.)

Samsung paid $5 apiece for the albums, according to a person familiar with the matter. It wasn’t immediately clear if Nielsen SoundScan will count Samsung’s purchases in its sales tallies.

Former NBA star Allen Iverson has abducted his own children … so says his ex-wife, and now she’s begging the court to force Allen to give them back.

Tawanna Iverson just filed legal docs, claiming Allen recently asked for permission to take their five kids on a short vacation to Charlotte, NC from May 22nd-May 26th (and Tawanna agreed) but when May 26th rolled around, the children hadn’t been returned.

The kids range in age from 3 to 16 years old.

In the docs, Tawanna says she tried to set up an exchange on June 4th at a neutral location — a nearby Target store — but A.I. never showed up.
Tawanna — who has sole legal and primary physical custody of their children — now believes Allen never took their kids to Charlotte at all … and is currently keeping them at a Sheraton hotel in Georgia.

Tawanna claims she’s especially concerned because Allen’s an alcoholic who drinks around their kids.

She now wants the court to force him to return the kids … and punish him as well, even suggesting the judge lock him up in jail.
It’s not the first time she’s tried to get Iverson locked up … she had previously begged the court to send him to the pokey for allegedly not paying more than $40,000 in child support.

Ludacris was hosting a party at the Prive nightclub in Atlanta. In the beginning of the video, Ludacris is seen holding a mic and standing in front of the camera doing his hosting thing. A long-lost daughter and father who were reunited after 24 years discovered that they were much closer than they thought. Will Russell has learned that he and his daughter Amy Roberson — who he put up for adoption shortly after birth — have been volunteering at the same Phoenix Rescue Mission, Fox 10 News reports. Now they are celebrating their first Father’s Day together in decades. After tracking down Russell, Roberson called him one day and asked to meet him and any siblings she had. “For me to hear on the other end and she said ‘Please say something … my heart’s beating through my chest..’ The only thing I could tell her was everything’s going to be okay… everything’s going to be all right,” Russell told Fox 10 News.

Wildwood officials are considering rules that would require visitors to pull up their pants,put on a shirt and wear shoes while on the town’s boardwalk.

The baggy pants measure requires the waist band of pants, shorts, swimsuits, and skirts to be no lower than 3 inches below the waist to prevent the exposure of skin or underwear.

He says the ordinance is designed to maintain the boardwalk’s family appeal. The shoe requirement, he says, is a safety issue.

The proposed regulations state:

• Foot protection, which may include shoes, sneakers or flip-flops that adequately protect one’s feet from wood or nails protruding from the surface of the boardwalk, must be worn at all times.

• A shirt which covers the breast and/or pectoral area must be worn after 8 p.m. and until 5 a.m.

• The waist band of shorts, swim-trunks, pants and/or skirts shall not be worn more than 3 inches below the wearer’s waist — interpreted to mean at a level below the crest of the ilium, so as to expose either skin or garment underneath — at any time

Monona Police Chief Wally Ostrenga said no specific incident led to the ordinance, just a general concern about the tragic consequences of bullying, including a rash of school shootings and teen suicides across the country.

He thinks the parent-liability clause will be used sparingly, if at all, and only in cases where parents are obstructive or uncooperative. He hopes the mere threat of a ticket will be enough.

He then goes on to list various black leaders and organizations that he believes are racist:

Congressional Black Caucus. “[A] pathetic, self-serving group of racists… advancing their purely racist agenda.” He later adds that “all members of Congress should be ashamed of the Congressional Black Caucus, as should be their constituents.” And finally: “They are truly a disgrace to all Americans.”
