Washington (CNN) – The Pentagon general counsel threatened legal action Thursday against a former Navy SEAL who wrote a revealing book about last year’s Osama bin Laden raid, warning him he has violated secrecy agreements and broken federal law.
In a letter addressed to “Mark Owen,” the pen name of book author Matt Bissonnette, General Counsel Jeh Charles Johnson wrote the Pentagon is considering pursuing “all remedies legally available” against the former SEAL and his publisher, Penguin Putnam.
“In the judgment of the Department of Defense, you are in material breach and violation of the nondisclosure agreements you signed. Further public dissemination of your book will aggravate your breach and violation of your agreements,” Johnson wrote.
The book is called “No Easy Day” and is a gripping account of the Navy SEAL raid on bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan last year that ended in the death of the world’s most notorious terrorist leader.
Clint Eastwood brought down the partisan crowd at the RNC by stumbling through an 11-minute bit last night that was supposed to be painfully hysterical … but might have been just painful.
The legendary actor/director got on stage and addressed an empty stool next to him, saying … “I’ve got Mr. Obama sitting here. I just was gonna ask him a couple questions.”
During the schtick 82-year-old Clint seemed confused at times as he critiqued the President’s 4 years in office … and set up punchlines like, “What do you want me to tell Romney? I can’t tell him to do that. He can’t do that to himself.”
President Obama responded to the invisible routine this morning by tweeting a pic of the back of his chair with the message, “This seat’s taken.”
While celebrating Michael Jackson’s birthday on Wednesday, La Toya and Paris Jackson partied it up by hanging out with a look-alike MJ impersonator.
La Toya and Paris snapped pics with tribute artist Carlo Riley at the annual “Goin’ Back to Indiana” birthday celebration for the King of Pop in his hometown of Gary.
Riley looks so much like MJ that he said Katherine Jackson told him, “You’re going to make me cry.” While Paris added, “I love your outfit.”
It’s the man in the mirror.
Deneeta Pope – the African American woman who dated Paul Ryan in college — wants to stay a country mile away from the Presidential election … TMZ has learned.
We spoke with Pope a few minutes ago and she could not have been clearer — she does not want to become an issue in the election.
Pope said, “I’m not interested in talking. I don’t know why everyone is calling. I’m newly married and would just like to be left alone.”
Ryan did an interview awhile back, saying he had a Black GF during college. Ryan was clearly trying to blunt criticism that he was not sympathetic to African Americans.
Pope deflected the call and said any questions about Paul Ryan should be directed to Paul Ryan.
An MTOer was inside club PEARL in Atlanta . . . and stumbled upon this THIRSTINESS. They couldn’t even bring that mess to the dance floor.
It sounds like Prince Harry might be off the hook with some of the Royal Family as his father, Prince Charles, apparently thinks a public apology is unnecessary.
It is rumored that Harry planned on apologizing for his nude party in Las Vegas, but Charles has reportedly told him not to do so, states RadarOnline. Charles reportedly didn’t think he did anything wrong and wants everyone to move forward from what happened.
Charles allegedly wants Harry to carry on like normal because he thinks that will help things blow over.
Do you think Harry needs to apologize or not for his actions?

With an eerie bit of foreshadowing looming during the interview, Beanie spoke about the last year he did in prison, a wrap he claims he took for a loved one to help them escape a 20-year prison bid. Read More:
