LisaRaye McCoy (46) and Bishop Noel Jones (63) are the latest couple to document their love on television. They will appear on Oxygen’s “Pastors of L.A.” alongside Bishop Clarence McClendon, Pastor Wayne Chaney, Bishop Ron Gibson, Pastor Jay Haizlip, and gospel singer Deitrick Haddon this Fall.
Comedian Chris Rock started rumors last week when he tweeted a photo of himself in a recording studio with an accompanying line reading, “In the studio with Em don’t sleep.” For what it’s worth the man in question is blurred enough that it may not be Eminem.
Rock was questioned about his involvement with the album after his picture. “Uh, I can’t really say,” Rock replied to Fuse TV’s inquiry about whether or not he contributed. “Hey, hey, I was on the Kanye record — maybe I’m on the Eminem record. You never know.”
Rock was featured on Kanye West’s 2010 album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.”
Eminem’s forthcoming album has been shrouded in mystery. The album has been hyped for a 2013 release but has yet to be announced with a set release date.
“We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013,” Dr. Dre said of Eminem’s next project. “He’s been working on it for some time. It’s safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we’re not exactly sure when. We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up.”
NBA All-Star and humanitarian Luol Deng has spent 9 years with the Chicago Bulls, leading the team in both victory and defeat. JAY Z’s Life+Times spent some time with him off the courts to get a look into a day in his life as he prepared for the team’s playoff run.
While the elder Joyner initially attended the school from 1984 through 1988, he dropped out early to build his career, according to a profile on the Morehouse website. Years later, after his oldest son had began attending Morehouse, he decided he wanted to re-enroll and complete his degree.
While his son was initially shocked by his dad’s decision, he said he liked having him around on campus.
“We used to have a support system. Sometimes he would come to my room to ask about a problem or a class or a professor to take,” the younger Joyner told WXIA-TV.
In fact, the younger Joyner, an English major, said being on campus with his father, a religion major who plans to attend law school, was actually “natural.”
Yesterday the internet was chirping when word circulated that Rihanna had fired a couple of iShots at Knick baller J.R. Smith on Instagram.
Being that J.R. has been playing so terribly in the playoffs this season, many sports analyst point to J.R.’s penchant for poppin’ bottles with models well into the wee hours of the morning as the reason for his poor play.
That said, Rihanna’s little dig didn’t go unheard. ESPN New York sportswriter Ian Begley asked J.R. if he heard about his rumored ex-booty call’s comments and he posted this response on his Twitter page.
Is Rihanna to blame for J.R. Smith’s struggles during the Knicks/Pacers playoff series? Some Knicks fans out there think so. Rih-Rih and J.R. were spotted partying together after a Knicks win in Game 2 of the series last week and he hasn’t been the same since.
So one Knicks fan in particular who goes by the name @peruvian_gawd took it upon himself to call Rihanna out for it on Instagram today. And, according to a screen grab that he posted to his own Instagram page a little while ago, Rihanna responded by going in on the Knicks and J.R.

“The music was so good, and [Musiq and I] both love Kemar’s production so we’re just like, ‘Why don’t we just do [an album] together?’” the soulful songstress told Billboard.
According to Syleena, “9INE” is heavily influenced by numerology. The pair teamed up with McGregor to record nine tracks for the album in nine days. The two are also born in September, the ninth month of year, which she said added to the divinity of the project.
“We’re having fun and putting something together for the fans to love,” she said. “[The album] is about love, happiness and peace.”
The saga continues over the heated family feud involving NBA superstar Kobe Bryant (pictured left) and his mother, Pamela (pictured below), regarding a planned auction of more than 100 collectibles from the baller’s past. Pamela alleges that her son gave her the memorabilia, which she had planned to sell, and Kobe vehemently denies this, stating that he wants to pass on the items to his children. At 22 years old, he was already a high school math teacher at Newark’s Malcolm X Shabazz High School, eventually creating a 70 percent standardized test pass rate; by 25, he was the school’s department chair of Mathematics. Within a year of acquiring the position, Mills improved the math department’s functioning from 17 percent to 26 percent.
With his rapid progression, Mills was able to become the school’s principal at 29, in the 2011-12 school year.
