Nas, Common, Nelly & More Stars Turn Up NBA All-Star Weekend at Hennessy Compound
Nas, Common, Kevin Hart, Nelly, Victor Cruz, Adrienne Bailon and more partied at several “Hennessy V.S All Star Takeover” events in Houston, TX during NBA All-Star Weekend. Kevin Hart and his beautiful girlfriend were joined by Common and DJ Biz Markie for the Hennessy V.S day party at the Compound tent. Hart showcased his comedic chops and grabbed the microphone to commentate a dance battle that was heating up on the dance floor.
Later in the evening, Victor Cruz stopped by Bambou to support the Hennessy Latino event being hosted by his good friends, Empire Girls – Adrienne Bailon and Julissa Bermudez. The football star and the ladies enjoyed Hennessy cocktails while watching bilingual hip-hop duo, Los Rakas tear the stage down.

“No. Because despite how its been worded by him that situation is not a “hip hop moment” or a “battle for the sake of musical integrity”…it’s a ploy for attention around the release of an album. More than anything it was just disappointing cause what kid isn’t a fan of what Common has done for our genre. A guy who made such an incredible career for himself based off expressing genuine feelings about life and love is now targeting me for sharing my story.”

The stars flocked to Utah last weekend to attend the Sundance Film Festival, where they were treated to music shows and award ceremonies.
Drake was in attendance but was three-hours late for his set after revealing that he “almost died six times” trying to get the venue.
Usually seen wearing no clothes on the beach, Coco and husband Ice T wrapped up warm in faux fur to walk the snow-filled streets of Utah, while Common was also seen looking snug in a huge puffer jacket.
There was drama in the form of Tracy Morgan fainting after giving an acceptance speech, while Meagan Good brough a splash of glamour and chic.
Dwyane Wade’s 30th Birthday with Kelly Rowland, Rick Ross, T.I. & Common
Dwyane Wade celebrated his 30th birthday at the Setai Hotel in South Beach, FL. Many big stars were in the building to celebrate the occasion including Gabrielle Union, Kelly Rowland, Lebron James, Usher, Alonzo Mourning, Fat Joe, and countless others.
Dwyane’s family surprised him with 3 special performances. Starting off was Common who shares the same neighborhood as Dwyane back in Chicago. Then Lil Duval came out to introduce T.I. And last but not least, Rick Ross shut it down!
Kelly Rowland came out to sing Happy Birthday to Dwyane personally onstage. DJ Irie was on hand throughout to emcee the event.
It was definitely a party to see!
