Kerry Washington Dishes On ‘Scandal’ & ‘Django Unchained’ Roles On Own’s Next Chapter
During the interview, Kerry dished on how she was able to transition from playing the powerful DC Fixer Olivia Pope in Scandal, to playing the slave Broomhilda, in the upcoming movie Django Unchained. The conversation got very deep as Kerry talked about having to film her Django scenes at an actual slave plantation in front of actual whipping trees and the toll that the role took on her. Both women became teary eyed at the end.
